"2020" is fun to say

From the book Where Did I Leave My Glasses by Martha Weinman Lear:
"In other words, they say, memory loss is not because we're getting older, it's simply because we have too much on our minds."

From the book 100 Things to do in Milwaukee Before you Die by Jenna Kashou:
- Fish Fry at Kegel's Inn, 5901 W. National Ave., West Allis, WI kegelsinn.com
- Brady Streets best dive bar:  Roman Coin, 1004 E. Brady St., Milwaukee, WI
- Drink Wisconsinibly, boozy bubler where you can have an old-fashioned from a bubbler.  320 W. Highland Ave., Milwaukee drinkwi.pub
- Go to a roller derby bout at UW-Milwaukee Panther Arena, 400 W. Kilbourn Ave. Milwaukee brewcitybruisers.com
- Hike the Seven Bridges trail in Grant Park.  100 Hawthorne Ave., South Milwaukee
- Visit the South Shore Park Market. June - October 2900 South Shore Drive, Milwaukee.  southshorefarmersmarket.com
- Milwaukee's Winter Farmers Market - Saturday mornings November-April. 524 south layton boulevard, milwaukee. (near Domes?)

1.  The Giver of Stars by Jojo Moyes (very good)
2.  The Confession Club by Elizabeth Berg (I always love her writing)
3.  The Minutemen by Greg Donahue (opened my eyes to Nazi/Jew troubles in New Jersey in the 1930's)
4.  Pont Neuf by Max Byrd (WW 2, mentions Hemingway & his wife Martha Gellhorn)
5.  Educated by Tara Westover (An amazing book, sad and difficult to read in parts, and I wondered where family love was at times.  A memoir and she came from knowing nothing to one smart woman!)
6. In Her Skin by Alex Kiester (a fun suspenseful Audible book to listen to)
7. My Lovely Wife by Samantha Downing (Recommended by Barb Lems who knows the author.  a thriller I couldn't put down.)
8.  Look at You Now by Liz Pryor (Biography/Autobiography)  Good, about a Chicago suburban teen who became pregnant and was sent away to have the child and gift it up for adoption.
9.  The Secret Between Us by Barbara Delinsky (mother/daughter car accident, who's to blame?)
10. The Boy in the Photo by Nicole Trope.  Good, I couldn't put it down.  Went back and forth in time.
11. The Third Angel by Alice Hoffman.  Just ok, I wouldn't recommend.  Like 3 similar stories in one sort of connected.
12.  The Kiss Quotient y Helen Hoang (pure fluff)

January is over, February is almost over.  Travel is in the air all over the place.  Stay tuned.

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to us.  The start of our longest vacation ever:
